I’m Hailey, a second year veterinary student here at UGA. I’ve been at OVH for four years and have loved it! I enjoy working out, Georgia football, and spending time with my foster fail, family and friends!
Haven
I have been working at Oconee Veterinary Hospital since July of 2023. Ever since a young age, I have always dreamed of working with and helping animals. Animals have always been my whole life! I’ve grown up on a farm helping tend to cattle and riding horses. I barrel raced horses for many years.
I am currently in the Veterinary Technology program to obtain my degree. I am basic life support CPR certified for dogs and cats and undergoing my certification for advanced life support. Since being in veterinary medicine and training three Australian Shepherds of my own, I have grown to love dog training and behavior. My aspiration is to obtain a degree for a obedience trainer/instructor and be able to help owners feel confident in their patient’s care, physically and mentally/behaviorally.
I have three dogs, three horses, and nine cats. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and my dogs, spending time outdoors, making crafts, gardening, and capturing photography.
Sydney
I have been at OVH since August 2025. I have worked in the field for about 6 years and graduated with my Bachelor’s in Biology from Oglethorpe University in 2024. My career aspirations are to become a veterinarian and I am actively working towards these goals. In my free time I love to workout, read, and spend any free time outdoors. I have two fur babies, a dog and a cat, who I love so much!
Kaitlyn
I’ve been a part of the Oconee Veterinary Hospital team since August 2022. Veterinary medicine has always been a passion of mine, and I truly enjoy caring for animals of all kinds. I'm currently pursuing a degree in sonography, excited to begin this next chapter of my professional journey.
Outside of work and school, I love spending time outdoors. My favorite hobbies include fishing, hunting, cooking, and staying active through fitness. I also have a dog named Ace, he’s full of energy and the light of my life!
Abby
I have been working at Oconee Veterinary Hospital since August of 2026! I have worked in the field since the day I turned 18, and am currently a third-year undergraduate student studying animal sciences at the University of Georgia! I plan to attend veterinary school starting in the fall of 2028. I am very involved with the Guide Dog Foundation and raise and train service dogs. I have raised Magic, who went to New York to become a PTSD service dog. I am currently raising Leao, who is 9 months old, and Shine, who is 5 months old! I love to cook, hang out with my roommates, and get involved anywhere I can on campus!

I have worked in the veterinary field for over 29 years with much of that time spent in practice management. Client service is my true love and what I’ve returned to. I’ve always enjoyed building relationship with clients and their pets and helping to make their experience as positive as possible.

My name is Kayla Ethridge and I have been working at Oconee Veterinary Hospital since August of 2026. I have been in the veterinary field for four years now. I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in this industry because of my passion for caring for all kinds of animals. I have a heeler mix named Dolly and a black cat named Binx! In my free time I enjoy golfing, traveling, staying active, off-roading, spending time outdoors, and supporting my husband at his rodeos!

I’ve spent over a decade working with animals—ranging from zookeeping and exotic animal training to private dog training. I hold a biology degree from Florida International University, and I’ve loved being part of the front desk team here at Oconee Veterinary Hospital since October 2025. More than anything, I just genuinely love helping animals and their people. When I’m not at the clinic, you can usually find me spending time with my husband, our Golden Retriever, two cats, two snakes, and our baby boy arriving this October. Outside of family time, I love hiking outdoors, reading, and photography.
