Our Vet Hospital Technicians
Ashley has been volunteering and working with animals since a young age. She lives in Athens with her dogs Sagan and Sitka. She is currently a student at The University of North Georgia, and has been with Oconee Vet since August 2012. When she isn’t working or studying, she tries to spend as much time outdoors as she can, whether it’s hiking with her dogs or hanging out with friends and family.
Dan has worked at Oconee Veterinary Hospital for 9 years. He has experience with not only veterinary medicine, but dog training and dog breeding as well. He lives in Danielsville with his four dogs, Rampage, Gemma, Cara, and Bo. Dan enjoys hunting, hanging out with his friends, and riding his motorcycle.
Alexa has been working at Oconee Veterinary Hospital since October of 2015. Prior to that, she worked with animals for over 2 years. After graduating with a Biology degree in Miami, she moved to Athens with her boyfriend, their dog Larry and their leopard gecko Isaac. She plans on attending the UGA School of Veterinary Medicine in the near future. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports and relaxing by the pool.
My name is Angel Hogg. I am from Guyton, Georgia, where I have my mom, dad, younger brother, and younger sister. I currently live in Athens, Georgia, and I am attending the University of Georgia. My major is animal health, and I intend on furthering my education until I receive a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. I am the first person in my family to go to college, and Oconee Veterinary Hospital has been my first place of employment. I feel like working here, I am one step closer to my dream job, and I enjoy every minute of every day i get to work with animals and animal lovers doing my best to be the best vet tech I can be.
All of our technicians work hard to provide the best of care to our patients. As an Athens GA Veterinary Hospital, we are always looking for the best employees to make our patients’ experience with us as pleasant as possible.
